At Jersey Post, we’re committed to delivering top-tier digital services, and we’re looking for a Technical Solutions Lead to help us optimise and innovate. This role is at the heart of our technical operations, ensuring our services run smoothly, securely, and efficiently.
🔹 Automating & Optimising – Develop and maintain workflows using Linux, Python, and shell scripting to streamline operations.
🔹 Driving Technical Excellence – Manage technical suppliers, oversee data handling, and ensure our infrastructure meets business needs.
🔹 Ensuring Compliance & Security – Act as Data Controller, support audits, and collaborate with IT and Governance teams to uphold best practices.
🔹 Supporting Operations – Assist with customer support, campaign management, and service integration into our billing system (JEM).
🔹 Managing Infrastructure – Lead infrastructure planning and oversee supplier relationships and contracts.
✔️ Experience in software development (Python preferred) and shell scripting (Bash).
✔️ Strong knowledge of relational databases (MS SQL) and HTTP APIs.
✔️ Excellent organizational and communication skills.
✔️ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerBI for data analysis.
✔️ Familiarity with Adobe InDesign (a plus!).
✔️ Experience in change and incident management.
