It’s Random Acts of Kindness Week next week, and to celebrate Jersey Post is encouraging islanders to take the time to say thank you, and spread positivity and joy with a handwritten note sent with love through the post. The week aims to make kindness the norm in every day life.
From 10th until 15th February, islanders can collect a free postcard from any Post Office across the island, or from Jersey Library (St Helier branch), and write a message to thank someone for making a difference. Address it, buy a stamp and pop it on, and make someone’s day as it arrives through their letterbox.
Islanders can also pick up a “thank you” postcard from the Jersey Post team on Valentine’s Day, when they’ll be out and about in St Helier with a mobile heart photo booth. More details on this event can be found on the Jersey Post Facebook page and website.
Counter colleagues at Broad Street and Rue des Pres Post Offices will also be surprising customers with a few random acts of kindness throughout the week when they’re making their purchases.
A big thank you to Mailmate for their support with printing, and to Jersey Library for handing out the postcards!
