On 31st Dec 2020, the Brexit transition period ended, and the UK is now outside EU’s customs union. From 1st January, new controls have been put in place on the movement of goods between Jersey and the EU.
Direct trade with the UK is not affected and goods will continue to move freely, subject to GST and excise, as they do currently.
