Celebrating Jersey Postcard Competition

This competition is now closed.

Thursday 1st October 2020 is the first ever World Postcard Day!

We’d like you to help us celebrate by designing a new postcard for us that fits the theme ‘Celebrating Jersey!’ You can choose to express this any way you like.

To enter, download and print our handy template here, or pick one up from Rue des Pres or Broad Street post offices.

You can either post your design in a dedicated collection box at Broad Street or Rue des Pres post offices, or send it to:

Please note the competition close date has been extended until Wednesday 23rd September, due to popular demand.

The competition, which closes on Friday 18 September 2020, has three age categories to choose from: Under 7, 7–11 and 12+. Following the closing date, a panel will carefully select a winning design from each category.

The winners will join the worldwide celebration by seeing their designs produced as postcards and used to promote Jersey around the world. The winning images will be available for sale at Jersey Post's flagship post office at Broad Street, with the proceeds going to Jersey Post's chosen charity, Holiday for Heroes Jersey.

Competition Rules

• The competition closes at 5pm on Wednesday 23rd September.
• There will be 3 winning categories: Under 7, 7-11, 12+.
• The winners will be selected by a panel at Jersey Post.
• Jersey Post reserves the right to use any submitted designs as they see fit.
• Designs can be submitted in physical or digital format.
• All designs must be A6 in size (148 x 105 mm).
• Submissions can be designed using any media format, e.g. hand-drawn, digitally illustrated, photography.
• There is no restriction to the number of entries allowed per person.
• Please note that artwork cannot be returned once submitted.
