Six new Post & Go stamps featuring farm animals found in Jersey will be issued by Jersey Post on 16 February 2023. Released in time for spring, the stamp illustrations focus on young farm animals, with each design incorporating a spring flower.
Illustrated by Sabrina Luoni, the stamps feature: a chick and daffodils, a Jersey calf and sand crocuses, a lamb and primroses, a foal and wild orchid, a kid and lily of the valley and a piglet and sea thrift.
Post & Go stamps are self-adhesive stamp labels with the postage printed on demand. They can be bought either as single stamps or in strips of six. As well as being available to vend from the JE02 kiosk at Jersey’s main Broad Street post office and from the JE03 kiosk at Postal Headquarters, Rue Des Pres, Jersey Farm Animals Collectors Strips will be available from Jersey Post’s back office B002 kiosk through the Philatelic Bureau.
Stamp artist Sabrina Luoni lives and works in Varese, Northern Italy, where she was born. Her artistic style and use of soft tones highlights the delicate beauty of nature. Sabrina has an MA in painting from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan.
