Jersey Post has chosen Jersey Hospice Care as its Charity of the Year for 2025, following an internal vote by colleagues.

Mark Siviter, Group CEO of Jersey Post, says: “The work Jersey Hospice Care do for our community, as the only hospice on the island, is invaluable and it’s a priviledge to help contribute to their vital cause. Supporting and connecting our island community is important to us at Jersey Post. We’re looking forward to getting involved in Jersey Hospice Care’s events and making a positive impact with our fundraising.”

Jersey Post has an in-house Charity Committee, which plans and organises a programme of events throughout the year. New for 2025 is a payroll giving scheme, where colleagues can donate directly from their salary.

Cheri Strudwick, Director of Income Generation and Marketing at Jersey Hospice Care, says: “We’re extremely grateful to the team at Jersey Post for choosing Hospice as their charity of choice for 2025. We’re looking forward to working with them over the coming months as they get involved in our events and help raise the vital funds we need to continue providing outstanding end of life care and support to our patients and their loved ones.”

Since 2013, Jersey Post has raised over £150,000 through its Charity of the Year initiative, supporting remarkable community charities such as Family Nursing & Home Care, Jersey Childcare Trust, and Macmillan Jersey. Colleagues from across the business get involved through events, challenges, raffles and volunteering opportunities, driven by a shared commitment to making a difference.
