Simply choose the type of parcel you’re sending, the destination you need it to go to and then add any extra tracking or compensation.
Our handy online postage labels already include all the customs information needed when sending overseas. This improves security, reduces delays and provides you with a better international service.

Letter specifications
Some things need extra special treatment when sending.
Choose Signed-for if you need the person receiving the item to sign on delivery or choose Tracked & Signed to track items at every sorting and delivery depot.
You could also choose our FedEx courier service to add extra special handling and monitoring provided by our global delivery partner FedEx.

Is your item valuable? You can add extra compensation for valuable items.
- Signed For includes £30 compensation
- Tracked & Signed includes £100 compensation (*note there is a £3.50 charge for £100 compensation on Large parcels)
Cover is provided only in the event of loss or damage to an item. Use our FedEx courier service for delay cover.

A maximum level of cover of £100 is available to Rest of World destinations, and a maximum level of cover of £500 to European destinations.

*Please note that there will be a handful of occasions throughout the year, due to earlier tide times, when we must bring our post office cut off times forward to ensure same day despatch on the ferry service. On these occasions we will provide notice on our service updates page.
Jersey stamps can be used to send an item from Jersey to any country in the world, provided that the correct postage has been added to the package.
Occasionally the ferry service may be cancelled due to technical issues with the boat or weather related issues.
If the inbound boat is cancelled, all mail will be held securely at Portsmouth Harbour for the next available service to the Island.
If the outbound mail boat is cancelled, all mail will be held securely at Postal HQ for the next available service to the UK.
