Amazon Returns
To return any items purchased through Amazon, please refer to the returns process located under the “Your Account” section of the app, or the Amazon website, at www.amazon.co.uk.
Printing facilities for Amazon return labels, are available at our Rue des Pres and Broad Street post offices.
To send your return...
- Start by repacking and resealing your items - make sure you've removed any old addresses from the original packaging.
- Next, log into your Amazon account, either through your Amazon app or the Amazon website, and follow the instructions to register a return - you'll then get a QR code.
- Bring your QR code to one of our post office counters which we'll scan to generate a returns label - we'll stick this to your parcel and return it through our Royal Mail network.
Please be aware:
- Amazon offers various returns methods, which will differ depending on the item(s) you’re returning, and always try to display the most accurate return costs and methods available – this varies per territory.
- Whilst most items sold on Amazon will follow their general returns policy, i.e. Amazon will refund the cost of sending an item back if it was sold or dispatched by Amazon, some products have different policies/requirements associated with them (due to there being various different sellers/marketplaces within Amazon).
- In most cases, Amazon provides pre-paid returns label. If the item purchased is not eligible for free return, and the customer is using a pre-paid return label, Amazon deducts the cost of the return from the customers refund.
- Returns from within the UK, start at a cost of £3.99, whilst international returns start at a cost of £8.09 (Jersey would fall in to this category).
- We'd prefer customers to request a pre-paid label from Amazon where possible – as this would mean they don't have to cover the cost at our counters. Where this is not possible there'll be a cost to the Jersey customer.
